Little Soccer Man

Isn't this a hysterical looking group of kids?! They are so fun (and funny) to watch. They spend most of the game kicking eachother in the shins and trying to score in the wrong goal!ha Ethan had his first goal at Monday nights game and he was so proud! We only have one game left! We are hoping to win the last game (especially since we haven't won yet!ha)

More importantly- Baseball practice starts this Thursday night! We are really pumped up! Ethan is counting down the days!

We're learning to ride our bikes!

We are learning to ride our bikes! It was such a beautiful day today- low 70's. Bub mastered it pretty fast and Grace is really coming along. She's a little more nervous but her daddy never let go of the back of her bike.

Oh we hate Monday mornings!!

Oh how we hate Monday mornings! I just had to post these pics! Especially of my Gracie girl! She is my sleeping mask sleeping beauty! Has anyone ever seen a 7 year old who HAS to use a sleep mask? Lately we have had to use it again. And if she can't find her favorite one she goes into hysterics! Bubba is the Drool King~ if you look really close you can see the drool spot under his mouth. I practically have to change this kids sheets twice a week to keep them clean!haha

The Red Envelope Campaign Against Abortion

If you know me at all you know how against abortion I am. It has become a really personal issue for me since I became a mother. The Lord has impressed upon my heart how much it grieves Him when one little one is taken from this life. Our church has become involved with the Red Envelope Campaign. If you haven't heard about it it is a simple way we can stand against abortion and stand up for these littles ones. All you need is a red envelope (or red construction paper folded up) a stamp, a pen, and a voice. On the back of the envelope you simply write:

"This envelope represents one child who died in an abortion. It is empty because that life was not allowed to offer anything to the world. Life begins at conception."

It is the hope of the Red Envelope Campaign to flood the White House with at least 50 million envelopes- the number of babies who have been killed since Roe v. Wade.

BRRR!! What a chilly Easter Sunday!

What a chilly day! The kids sweetly agreed to pictures but we only snapped a few because they were really cold! Our tulips are usually all bloomed by Easter Sunday for pictures and if you look behind Ethan in his pic they are closed up tight!
We had a great day at church and I put a roast in the crockpot last night so lunch was super easy and yummy. I am hoping the kids crash from their sugar high early tonight. I am worn out! The kids each got a new sleeping bag set (Hannah Montana for Grace, Wall-E for Bub) with their Easter baskets. It came with a matching flash light and they want to use them when they go to bed tonight and pretend to "camp-out." Maybe that means we'll be excited for bedtime!ha

Little soccer man!

Here's the little soccer player! He is really enjoying it but he has trouble playing against his friends! In last week's game his good friend Isaac was goalie and Ethan wouldn't kick the ball to the goal! Tonight's game is going to be inside because we are having snow flurries and freezing cold temps! Is this April or what??
